An Integrated Islamic Education under Azizah Darussalam Foundation
Azizah Darussalam Foundation is an educational foundation established in March 2015. Currently, the foundation manages SD IT Azizah Palembang and SMP IT Azizah Darussalam, located on Jalan Tegal Binangun, Lorong Karang Anyar 1, Plaju Darat, Plaju District, Palembang, South Sumatra. SMP IT Azizah Darussalam offers both boarding and non-boarding programs to accommodate the diverse needs of students. The school is supported by facilities designed to enhance and support effective learning processes.
SIT Azizah Darussalam is an Islamic Integrated School committed to nurturing students through Qur’anic values, noble character, and academic excellence. Guided by faith and discipline, the school provides a balanced education that develops intellectual growth, independence, and social responsibility, preparing students to contribute positively to the ummah and the future.

The Philosophy Behind Our Logo
The basic shape of the logo is an eight-pointed star inspired by Islamic geometric art. This symbol represents balance, steadfastness, and a clear direction in guiding students toward goodness.
In the center is a three-layered dome representing the three main pillars of Azizah's education: spiritual guidance, academic strengthening, and character building. The dome's peak, which points to a single point, reflects the values of monotheism and the sanctity of knowledge.
The open book at the bottom symbolizes the source of knowledge, openness to the changing times, and the school's commitment to fostering a meaningful and sustainable learning culture.
The dominance of green symbolizes hope, coolness, and growth, in line with the vision of producing a generation that is pious, intelligent, and noble in character. The spelling of “azizah” in lowercase letters emphasizes the character of the institution as friendly, humble, yet firm in its principles.
